The Formula
10,000mg. The dose the research actually supports.
STRUCTURA is not a collection of ingredients. It is a system — each component chosen for what it does in combination with the others. Here is exactly what is in it, and exactly why.
The most abundant protein in your body. And the one most people are low in.
Collagen is a structural protein — the scaffolding that holds the body together. It makes up approximately 30% of total body protein mass and is found in skin, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, bone, blood vessels and the gut lining. Not just a skin ingredient. A foundational one.
The body produces collagen naturally, but production peaks in your mid-twenties and declines roughly 1% per year after that. By 40, most people have lost 10–15% of their peak production. This is not scaremongering — it is biology. And it is the reason supplementing at a clinically relevant dose makes sense.
Most people in 2026 also eat relatively little connective tissue — the traditional dietary source of collagen. Bone broth, skin-on meat, offal — these have largely disappeared from modern diets. STRUCTURA addresses that gap directly, efficiently, and in a form the body can actually use.
Of total body protein is collagen
Not all collagen is the same.
There are at least 28 types of collagen in the human body. Three matter most for supplementation — and STRUCTURA targets the right ones.
Most abundant · Primary target
Type I collagen is the most abundant in the human body — accounting for 90% of total collagen. It forms the dense fibres that give skin its tensile strength, tendons their load-bearing capacity, and bones their structural integrity.
Found alongside Type I · Skin & vessels
Found alongside Type I in skin, blood vessel walls and the gut lining. Responsible for the elasticity of tissues — the quality that allows skin to stretch and return.
Joint cartilage · Not our target
The primary component of joint cartilage, predominantly found in bovine collagen supplements. STRUCTURA uses marine collagen — optimised for skin and systemic protein delivery.
Collagen is a protein. Each serving of STRUCTURA delivers 10g of protein in the form of hydrolysed collagen peptides — highly bioavailable, rapidly absorbed, and targeted specifically at structural repair and synthesis.
Unlike whey or plant proteins, collagen peptides are absorbed in their dipeptide and tripeptide form — entering circulation largely intact rather than being broken down to individual amino acids first. This makes them uniquely effective at reaching target tissues including the skin's dermal matrix.
A note on completeness
Collagen is not a complete protein — it lacks tryptophan, one of the nine essential amino acids. STRUCTURA is a targeted structural protein, not a meal replacement. For complete amino acid coverage, pair it with a varied diet that includes eggs, fish, legumes or dairy. A dedicated VECHÉN protein supplement is in development.
What marine collagen is actually made of.
Marine collagen has a distinctive amino acid profile — rich in the three amino acids that build and stabilise the collagen triple helix. Here is what each one does in the body, and what to eat alongside STRUCTURA to support it.
Glycine
~33% of collagenThe smallest amino acid and the most abundant in collagen by weight. In the body, glycine is a precursor to creatine and required for glutathione synthesis. Research suggests it supports sleep quality and has a mild inhibitory effect on the nervous system.
Glycine is conditionally essential — the body produces some, but rarely enough for people who are active, under stress, or not eating much connective tissue. Most modern diets are glycine-poor. STRUCTURA is an excellent source.
Pairs well with
Eggs and meat for complete amino acid coverage. Magnesium-rich foods (nuts, seeds, dark chocolate) to further support sleep and nervous system function. Vitamin C-rich foods — bell peppers, citrus, kiwi — to enhance collagen synthesis.
Proline
~12% of collagenEssential for stabilising the collagen triple helix. Involved in wound healing and cartilage integrity. Works directly with Vitamin C — already in the STRUCTURA formula.
Without Vitamin C, proline cannot be hydroxylated into hydroxyproline, and the collagen triple helix cannot form properly. The two are inseparable.
Pairs well with
Vitamin C-rich foods at the same meal — bell peppers, kiwi, citrus, broccoli. Iron-rich foods (red meat, lentils, spinach) also support proline hydroxylation.
Glutamic Acid
~11% of collagenA precursor to glutamine — the primary fuel source for intestinal cells and a key player in gut lining integrity. Also a precursor to GABA, the body's primary inhibitory neurotransmitter.
Gut health and skin health are more connected than most people realise. A compromised gut lining affects nutrient absorption — including the collagen peptides in STRUCTURA itself.
Pairs well with
Fermented foods — kimchi, kefir, natural yoghurt, sauerkraut. Prebiotic foods (oats, garlic, onion, banana) also complement this.
Alanine
~11% of collagenCentral to glucose-alanine cycling — the process by which muscle tissue exports nitrogen to the liver, converted back to glucose for energy. Particularly relevant for people who are physically active.
For the person who trains consistently, travels, runs on limited sleep and still needs to perform — alanine is doing quiet, important work in the background.
Pairs well with
Complex carbohydrates — oats, sweet potato, brown rice — which support the glucose-alanine cycle. Post-exercise consumption of STRUCTURA may be particularly effective.
A note for plant-based and flexitarian customers.
STRUCTURA contains marine collagen sourced from fish. It is not vegan, and we will not dress that up. If you are strictly vegan, STRUCTURA is not suitable for you — and we respect that entirely.
If you are flexitarian, pescatarian, or mostly plant-based but not strictly so, STRUCTURA fits naturally. For those who eat predominantly plant-based, STRUCTURA addresses a specific gap that plants cannot fill — collagen itself does not exist in the plant kingdom. Pairing STRUCTURA with the following supports its function and completes the nutritional picture:
Collagen peptides need to reach the dermis — the structural layer of skin where collagen fibres actually live — to do anything meaningful. Getting there requires two things: the right molecular size, and enough of it.
The molecular size is 2000 Dalton — small enough to pass through the intestinal wall and enter circulation without being broken down further. The dose is 10,000mg — the amount clinical research shows is required to saturate that pathway and stimulate fibroblast activity in the dermal matrix.
Below that threshold, absorption is partial. The signal to produce new collagen is weak. The results, if any, are marginal. This is not a position — it is the mechanism.
What fibroblasts actually do
Fibroblasts are the cells in your dermis responsible for producing collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. When collagen peptides arrive at the right size and in sufficient quantity, fibroblasts read them as a signal that collagen is breaking down — and upregulate production in response.
Size determines how far it gets.
Collagen peptides are measured in Daltons — a unit of molecular weight. The smaller the Dalton weight, the deeper the peptide can travel through the body's barriers.
At 2000 Dalton, STRUCTURA peptides pass through the intestinal wall intact, enter systemic circulation, and reach the dermal matrix.
Eleven ingredients. Every one accountable.
Hydrolysed Marine Collagen Peptides
10,000mg per serving · 2000 Dalton · Sustainably sourced
Cold-hydrolyzed from open-water deep-sea fish, our collagen peptides are reduced to 2000 Dalton — the molecular weight at which they cross the intestinal barrier intact and reach the dermal matrix via systemic circulation.
This is the foundation. Everything else in STRUCTURA exists to help it work better, or to do something the collagen alone cannot.
Hyaluronic Acid
120mg per serving
A glycosaminoglycan naturally present in the dermis. A single molecule holds up to 1000 times its weight in water. At 120mg taken orally, it reinforces the moisture-retaining capacity of the skin's extracellular matrix from within — building an internal hydration reservoir rather than applying surface moisture that evaporates.
This is why people who use STRUCTURA consistently notice they reach for their moisturiser less. Not because their skin looks different. Because it holds water differently.
Vitamin C
80mg · 100% NRV · L-Ascorbic Acid
A required co-factor in the hydroxylation of proline and lysine — two amino acids that form and stabilise the collagen triple helix. Without sufficient Vitamin C, collagen synthesis stalls regardless of how much collagen is consumed. Also a potent antioxidant that protects existing collagen from oxidative degradation. Degrades above 70°C — stir STRUCTURA into warm, not boiling, liquids.
Think of it as the catalyst. The collagen is the raw material. Vitamin C is what tells the body to build with it.
B-Complex
B2 · B3 · B5 · B6 · B7 · B9 · B12 · All at 100% NRV
Seven B vitamins contributing to cellular energy metabolism — the process by which cells convert nutrients into ATP. B3 and B5 support NAD+ production central to mitochondrial function. B6 supports amino acid metabolism including collagen protein synthesis. Biotin (B7) contributes to hair and nail matrix maintenance. B9 and B12 support cell division and neurological function.
The B-Complex is why people notice STRUCTURA does something beyond skin. The clarity and energy that come with consistent use aren't incidental — they're built in.
Not a list. A system.
These ingredients were not assembled by category. They were chosen for what they do together. Three layers. One daily serving.
Layer 1 — Structural
Marine collagen peptides at 10,000mg provide the raw material for dermal collagen synthesis. Hyaluronic acid reinforces the moisture-retaining capacity of the extracellular matrix.
Marine Collagen · Hyaluronic Acid
Layer 2 — Catalytic
Vitamin C is the co-factor without which collagen synthesis cannot complete. It hydroxylates the proline and lysine residues that stabilise the triple helix. Without it, the first layer works at reduced capacity. With it, synthesis proceeds as intended.
Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid)
Layer 3 — Performance
The full B-Complex supports the cellular energy systems that make everything else possible. Energy metabolism, amino acid processing, neurological function, hair and nail matrix maintenance. This is why STRUCTURA does more than skin.
