Description

Choose vitamin C from acerola cherry extract in a capsule that fits easily into a busy day. With blackberry, rosehip, elderberry and parsley leaf, this vegan formula brings together fruit and plant ingredients with 125mg vitamin C per capsule. Vitamin C helps your immune system work normally and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, giving the formula a clear role in your daily routine.

Each capsule provides 125mg vitamin C. The acerola extract is standardised to 25% vitamin C, meaning its vitamin C concentration is specified.

Acerola is the source of the measured vitamin C, which contributes to normal immune function, helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, and contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage. Blackberry, rosehip and elderberry bring additional fruit extracts, with parsley adding a leaf ingredient. Brown rice flour helps fill the capsule, and the plant-based HPMC shell keeps the format vegan.

The formula also contains 50mg parsley leaf powder, with blackberry, rosehip and elderberry extracts. Take one capsule one to three times daily. The 60-capsule pack provides 20–60 days at that intake. The capsule shell is HPMC, a plant-based alternative to gelatin.

FAQs

If it isn't answered below, ask us — a real person replies.

How much vitamin C does one capsule provide?
125mg vitamin C per capsule. One to three capsules provide 125–375mg daily.
Where does the vitamin C come from?
Acerola cherry extract standardised to 25% vitamin C.
What other plant ingredients are included?
Blackberry extract equivalent to 108mg fruit, rosehip extract equivalent to 108mg, elderberry extract equivalent to 42mg and 50mg parsley leaf powder per capsule. The extract equivalents describe the plant material represented, not the physical extract weight.
How do I take it?
Take one capsule one to three times daily. Do not exceed three capsules daily.
Is it vegan?
Yes. It uses an HPMC capsule shell and contains no gelatin.
How long does the pack last?
Sixty days at one capsule daily, 30 days at two daily or 20 days at three daily.
Do I need to combine it with a liquid vitamin C supplement?
No. Choose the format that suits you. Each capsule already contributes 125mg vitamin C, which should be included when considering your total from other supplements.
Why include the other fruit and leaf ingredients?
Blackberry, rosehip, elderberry and parsley give the formula a broader mix of plant ingredients alongside acerola. The quantified vitamin C comes from the standardised acerola extract. The capsule brings these ingredients together in a convenient vegan format.

DoseThe capsule formula declares 125mg vitamin C per capsule. Use the finished product label rather than assuming the same vitamin amount in every acerola-containing formula.

What it is

Acerola is a small tropical fruit often called Barbados cherry or West Indian cherry. Despite the common name, it is botanically different from the sweet and sour cherries of the genus Prunus.

Its nutritional role

Acerola is known for its naturally high vitamin C content. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient; the fruit's name alone does not tell you how much a finished preparation supplies.

Understanding the form

Fruit powder and a vitamin-C-standardised extract are different preparations. Standardisation specifies a measured proportion of a constituent, such as vitamin C, rather than making every extract equivalent to whole fruit.

A useful detail

Fruit weight, extract weight and vitamin C content are three different quantities. Compare the declared vitamin C per serving rather than assuming that a larger fruit-equivalent number means more vitamin C.

In VECHÉN

Acerola appears in our vitamin C capsules, Greens Blend and Hemp Protein + Greens. The capsule declares 125mg vitamin C; the amounts in the other blends should not be inferred from that figure.

Different roles

Colours help create a consistent appearance. Stabilisers and thickeners influence texture and how ingredients remain dispersed. Carriers help distribute small quantities of an ingredient through a larger blend. These are different formulation jobs.

Examples in practice

Xanthan gum is used to thicken or stabilise a drink. Citric acid adjusts acidity and contributes tartness. Maltodextrin can provide bulk or act as a carrier. Colour ingredients may include beta-carotene, turmeric extract or grape skin extract where listed.

A useful distinction

An ingredient used for colour is not automatically present at a nutritional supplement dose. Turmeric extract used as a colour, for example, should not be assumed to supply a standardised curcumin amount.

In VECHÉN

The exact combination varies by product and flavour. Read these ingredients alongside the main nutrients: they explain how a powder or liquid is made to taste, mix and remain consistent. Their individual quantities should not be guessed where the label does not declare them.
