Description
Bring bovine collagen, fibre and supporting nutrients into one sweet orange drink. Each serving combines 10g collagen peptides with vitamin C for normal collagen formation and vitamin D for normal bones and muscle function. With added glucosamine and a broad vitamin and mineral blend, it is a convenient option when you want these ingredients together rather than in separate products.
A 13.8g serving supplies 10.5g protein. Collagen is characteristically rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. Hydrolysis breaks collagen’s long protein chains into smaller, soluble peptides before you take it. This begins the breakdown that digestion will continue, releasing amino acids and small peptides for absorption. It also makes collagen practical to mix into a daily drink.
Vitamin C (160.3mg) supports normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage. Vitamin D (3.3µg) helps maintain normal bones and muscle function, and magnesium (56.2mg) contributes to normal muscle function. B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism; vitamin B6 also contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism.
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, while vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Iron contributes to normal oxygen transport, zinc to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails, and iodine to normal thyroid function. The formula also includes calcium and phosphorus; their amounts are stated as part of the nutrient blend.
Glucosamine hydrochloride (800mg) supplies glucosamine, a compound the body uses to make larger molecules found in cartilage. Chicory fibre adds dietary fibre to the drink: each serving provides 1g total fibre. These additions give the recipe a different composition from plain collagen powder. Steviol glycosides provide sweetness.
Mix one scoop (13.8g) with 200ml water or juice. A 415g tub provides 30 servings. Contains CRUSTACEANS from the glucosamine and is unsuitable for vegetarians or vegans.

The B vitamins
Eight different vitamins, with individual roles and amounts to compare.
Vitamin E
A fat-soluble vitamin that can appear as a nutrient or as a supporting formulation ingredient.
Iron
An essential mineral involved in normal oxygen transport, with its amount distinct from its compound weight.

A trace mineral involved in normal protein synthesis and the maintenance of skin, hair and nails.
Vitamin D3
Cholecalciferol, a form of vitamin D supplied in very different amounts across the range.
Vitamin A
A fat-soluble vitamin whose declared form helps distinguish it from carotenoid ingredients.

Citrus ice lollies
View recipe
Makes 4 small lollies. The whole batch contains 13.8g powder; each equal lolly contains approximately 3.45g (1/4 of a product serving).
Ingredients
• 13.8g VECHÉN Bovine Collagen + Glucosamine (1 scoop for the whole batch)
• 250ml cold water
• Juice of 1 orange
Method
1. Whisk VECHÉN Bovine Collagen + Glucosamine into the cold water, then stir in the orange juice.
2. Stir again immediately before dividing equally between 4 lolly moulds.
3. Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, until solid.
Add the powder before freezing. These are adult supplement portions, not children’s ice lollies. Four equal lollies share one product serving; do not add a scoop to each mould. Contains crustaceans.
