Description

Make a daily collagen routine as simple as adding one scoop to a drink you already enjoy. STRUCTURA brings 10g marine collagen peptides together with vitamin C for normal collagen formation, all eight B vitamins and 25mg hyaluronic acid. Completely tasteless, with no trace of fish taste and no added sweetener, it lets your coffee, smoothie or other favourite drink keep its own flavour.

Collagen is a source of protein, characteristically rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. Its amino acid profile differs from whey and plant proteins, offering a concentrated collagen ingredient alongside your usual protein foods. Hydrolysis breaks collagen’s long protein chains into smaller, soluble peptides before you take it. This begins the breakdown that digestion will continue, releasing amino acids and small peptides for absorption. It also makes collagen practical to mix into a daily drink.

Vitamin C has a clear role alongside the collagen: the 180mg in each scoop contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage. Your body makes its own collagen; vitamin C supports that process.

The B vitamins add nutritional support beyond the collagen. B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism. B1, B2, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, biotin and B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism; biotin also helps maintain normal hair and skin. Folic acid contributes to normal amino acid synthesis. Hyaluronic acid is a different ingredient from protein: it is a water-binding compound naturally found in skin and connective tissues, included here as sodium hyaluronate.

Shake one level scoop (10.35g) into 250ml of water or a cold or warm drink once daily. It dissolves best at room temperature. The 300g tub provides 29 servings. Contains FISH and is suitable for pescatarians.

FAQs

If it isn't answered below, ask us — a real person replies.

Where does the collagen come from?
The hydrolysed marine collagen peptides are derived from fish skins. The product contains FISH.
How much collagen do I get per serving?
One level 10.35g scoop provides 10g collagen peptides. The scoop also contains the added vitamins and hyaluronic acid.
What else is in each serving?
180mg vitamin C, 25mg hyaluronic acid and all eight B vitamins: B1 4mg, B2 6mg, B3 17mg, B5 21mg, B6 4mg, B12 10µg, biotin 200µg and folic acid 200µg.
What does vitamin C contribute?
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage.
How do I mix it?
Shake one level scoop (10.35g) with 250ml of water or a cold or warm drink, once daily. It dissolves best at room temperature. A scoop is included.
Is it flavoured or sweetened?
It is completely tasteless, with no trace of fish taste. There is no added flavouring or sweetener, so the flavour of the drink you mix it with can stay centre stage.
Is it vegan or vegetarian?
No. The collagen comes from fish. It is suitable for pescatarians and contains no dairy ingredients.
How long does the tub last?
The 300g tub provides 29 servings, lasting 29 days at one serving daily.
Why is the collagen broken down into peptides?
Hydrolysis breaks collagen’s long protein chains into smaller, soluble peptides before you take it. This begins the breakdown that digestion will continue, releasing amino acids and small peptides for absorption. It also makes collagen practical to mix into a daily drink. Small human studies have found faster absorption of some collagen amino acids after enzymatic hydrolysis. That does not mean faster metabolism or a guaranteed visible result.
Which amino acids does collagen provide?
Glycine, proline and hydroxyproline are characteristic of collagen. It also contains other amino acids, but lacks tryptophan and therefore is not a complete protein. No quantities for individual amino acids are specified for this product.
Why choose collagen if I already take a protein powder?
Collagen is a type of protein with a distinctive profile rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. Whey, soy and other protein foods remain valuable for meeting your overall protein needs; complete proteins provide all nine essential amino acids. Collagen offers those characteristic amino acids in different proportions, together with this formula’s nutrients such as vitamin C for normal collagen formation. That makes it a distinct option for a collagen routine. You can use both, but collagen is optional: your body can make its own collagen using a varied diet with adequate protein and vitamin C.
Why is hyaluronic acid included?
The formula combines 25mg hyaluronic acid with collagen and vitamins in one scoop. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in skin and connective tissues and has water-binding properties. Vitamin C supplies the formula’s established support for normal collagen formation.

What it is

Collagen is a protein made from chains of amino acids. Hydrolysis breaks its long chains into smaller fragments called peptides. Marine describes the fish source; hydrolysed describes the processing.

The amino acids

Collagen is particularly rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. In the native collagen structure, glycine helps the chains pack tightly, while proline and hydroxyproline contribute to the shape and stability of the triple helix. These describe the protein’s composition, rather than a promise about where a supplement will act.

What 4,000 Daltons means

STRUCTURA’s collagen has a stated molecular weight of 4,000 Daltons (4 kDa). Daltons measure molecular mass; they do not measure the dose or guarantee absorption or results. Hydrolysed collagen contains a mixture of peptide sizes.

In VECHÉN

STRUCTURA provides 10g collagen per serving, derived from the skin of non-endangered, farmed fish. Marine Collagen + MSM provides 9g marine collagen per serving. Both contain fish. Collagen is not a complete protein and should sit alongside varied dietary protein sources.

Vitamin C

An essential vitamin involved in normal collagen formation, with different forms across the range.

SourceCalcium ascorbate, ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate depending on formula; acerola is also present in Greens Blend.
FormPowder or liquid, depending on formula
Found inCitrus, blackcurrant, peppers, broccoli, kiwi

What it is

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that your body cannot make. Peppers, kiwi fruit, citrus fruits and broccoli are familiar food sources.

Its nutritional role

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage. It is involved in the enzyme reactions used to make collagen. It also increases iron absorption; this is particularly relevant to non-haem iron found in plant foods.

Understanding the form

Ascorbic acid and mineral ascorbates, such as calcium ascorbate and sodium ascorbate, supply vitamin C. A plant-derived source does not automatically mean better absorption. Liposomal describes a formulation approach, rather than a different vitamin.

A useful detail

The percentage absorbed falls as the dose increases. A higher number on the front of a pack does not mean proportionally more vitamin C reaches the body.

In VECHÉN

STRUCTURA provides 180mg vitamin C per serving. Other formulas use different amounts and combinations; compare the vitamin C quantity per recommended serving rather than the weight of the whole powder or liquid.

How it helps

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Nutrients of integrity

Hyaluronic acid

A carbohydrate-based molecule, supplied as sodium hyaluronate in the collagen formulas.

SourceSodium hyaluronate
FormPowder

What it is

Hyaluronic acid is a long-chain carbohydrate called a glycosaminoglycan. It is chemically different from collagen, which is a protein built from amino acids. The word acid describes its chemistry; it does not make it an exfoliating ingredient.

Understanding the name

Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Both names can appear in information about the same formulation: one identifies the ingredient form and the other the declared constituent.

Reading the amount

Milligrams describe the quantity in a serving. Molecular weight, where specified, describes the size of the molecules. These are different measurements. A molecular-weight figure for collagen cannot be used to describe the hyaluronic acid beside it.

In VECHÉN

STRUCTURA provides 25mg hyaluronic acid per serving, and Marine Collagen + MSM provides 50mg. These are separate quantities from their collagen content. Their inclusion does not establish a skin-hydration or joint-health outcome, and results from a topical skincare product cannot be assumed for an oral formula.

Meet the family

The B vitamins are thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), B6, biotin (B7), folate (B9) and B12. B-complex is a collective description, rather than a single nutrient.

Their different roles

Several B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. This means participation in the processes that use energy from food; the vitamins themselves do not supply calories. B6 and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, while biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin.

Understanding the amounts

Some B vitamins are listed in milligrams and others in micrograms. One milligram equals 1,000 micrograms. Compare each vitamin separately and include any other supplements you already take.

In VECHÉN

STRUCTURA contains all eight B vitamins. Other formulas contain different selections, and even flavours can differ. Soy Protein + Multivitamins Vanilla lists seven B vitamins, while Chocolate lists five. A claim for one vitamin should not be assumed to apply to every member of the family.

I've tried a few collagen powders before and this one is the easiest to drink. No clumping, even in cold water. And on top of it, it is completely flavourless.
